Multiverse
.echo

Multiverse .echo is an adaptation of Multiverse designed for an enclosed gallery space. Just like the original installation, it explores the evolution of infinite possible universes through the use of generative graphics and sounds. The work lays its foundations on Lee Smolin’s theory - observing that our universe is only one in a much larger cosmos (the Multiverse), a member of a growing community of universes, each one being born from the collapse following the formation of a black hole. The work evolves through the creation of a succession of digital paintings, attempting to represent the eternal birth and death of infinite parallel universes.

In Multiverse .echo, a series of digital paintings of different dimensions follow one another, creating a collage of parallel but distant visions, similar but discordant: a series of windows that, through unique perspectives, express the cyclicality and eternal sequence of death and rebirth common to all the elements of the universe.

Multiverse .echo was unveiled to the public as part of the exhibition ‘Ipotesi Metaverso’ (2023) at Palazzo Cipolla, curated by Gabriele Simongini and Serena Tabacchi.
