Multiverse .echo has been created specifically for the show “Ipotesi Metaverso”, hosted in Palazzo Cipolla in Rome (IT) and curated by Gabriele Simongini and Serena Tabacchi.
From April 5 to July 23, 2023, the palace hosted "Ipotesi Metaverso," an exhibition exploring the technological and existential concept of the Metaverse.
The central feature of the show was the juxtaposition of historical artworks from renowned artists such as Carlo Maratti, Andrea Pozzo, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, and modern masters including Umberto Boccioni and Giorgio de Chirico, with cutting-edge works by contemporary artists exploring the medium of the digital.
Multiverse .echo acted as different windows on contemporary, possible, plausible realities in a deeply elegant and clean setting. The spatialized audio system and encompassing visuals contributed to making it one of the most appreciated installations in the exhibition.
The show also included works by: Carlo Maratti, Andrea Pozzo, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Umberto Boccioni, Giacomo Balla, Fortunato Depero, De Pistoris, Giorgio de Chirico, Maurits Cornelis Escher, Victor Vasarely, Ugo Nespolo, Giulio Paolini, Giuseppe Fiducia, Pier Augusto Breccia, Alfredo Zelli, Cesar Santos, Robert Alice, Refik Anadol, Alex Braga, Joshua Chaplin, Sofia Crespo and Feileacan McCormick, Damjanski, Primavera De Filippi, Fabio Giampietro with Paolo Di Giacomo, Krista Kim, Mario Klingemann, Pak, Joe Pease, Federico Solmi, Sasha Stiles, Pinar Yoldas.
